RAY COUNTY, Mo. – The trial has been postponed for a Lawson man accused of threatening two people with a handgun.
At a pre-trial conference Wednesday morning in Ray County, the court approved the request of Aaron D. Haggins, Jr., 26, to continue his case. Haggins was charged with two counts each of first degree assault, armed criminal action and endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities say after threatening the man and woman, Haggins hid the pistol in a room occupied by two children.
A plea or trial setting will now take place on June 12.
