CASS COUNTY, Mo.—A case review approaches for a Kansas City, Missouri man accused of murder.

During the review a judge announces further proceedings in the double murder case against Kylr Yust. Court records report Judge William Collins suspended the case on Sept. 17 pending results of a state mental exam. This action follows the defense initiated exam declaring Yust incompetent to stand trial. Additionally, the order for continuance gives the defense a chance to review 43 discs presented to them by the state. Yust is accused of killing Kara Kopetsky and Jessica Runions. He also faces two counts of abandonment of a corpse. Parties convene at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in a Cass County Courtroom.
