INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (AP) — Trial is scheduled to begin Monday for a man accused of killing two young brothers and two adults in northwest Missouri.
Gevante Anderson, 26, is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the March 2009 deaths of his ex-girlfriend, her boyfriend and two young nephews.
The victims were Amir Clemons, 10, and Gerard Clemons, 7, their aunt, Precious Triplett, 21, and her boyfriend, Andre Jones, 33.
The boys were visiting their aunt in Raytown when the killings occurred. A toddler was left wandering among the bodies until the boys’ father went to the apartment and found the victims.
