Wildlife was the cause of an accident in Linn County Friday morning.  According to the report from the Highway Patrol, Molly Leon, 47, from California was driving her Freightliner truck eastbound on Highway 36 near the Meadville junction when a turkey crashed through her windshield and landed in the cab compartment.

Leon sustained minor injuries and was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment.
