RAY COUNTY, Mo. – Two women could be facing charges after being detained by the Missouri Highway Patrol in Ray County.
In an arrest report filed around 9:45 p.m. Friday night, the patrol says they took Samantha J. Depriest, 25, of Kearney and Ariana P. Rowan, 23, of Richmond into custody during a traffic stop. Depriest is accused of no seat belt, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Rowan is facing two felony allegations of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both have been released pending the filing of formal charges.
