Early Monday morning two Marshall residents were arrested on Arrow Street, according to the Saline County Sheriffs Department. The 23-year-old pair was travelling eastbound with a child when the driver failed to signal to turn into his driveway.

The trooper pulled the green Honda car over and the driver identified himself as Nakhota Williams and the passenger identified herself as Casey Hodges. There was also a small child buckled properly in the back of the vehicle, according to the arrest report.

Williams was taken into custody on suspicion of driving with a suspended license. Hodges was also arrested due to two outstanding warrants for her arrest on similar charges.

Williams and Hodges are being held in the Saline County Jail. Williams is awaiting the filing of formal charges.
