BRUNSWICK, Mo.- Two Brunswick, Mo., residents were reportedly injured during an incident on West Harrison and Worth Street that required Life-Flight personnel and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The filed accident report states that Anton Gerke, 46, was loading a car onto a trailer attached to a pickup truck when the truck jumped out of gear and traveled down a hill. A pedestrian, Patricia Gerke, 58, attempted to enter the truck when the opened door struck a utility pole causing her to fall the the roadway.
The truck continued downhill, traveled off the road, through a the side of a garage, and struck a parked vehicle.
Anton Gerke was transported by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries; Patricia Gerke was transported by Life-Flight to University Hospital where she’s being treated for serious injuries.
