Two men accused of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute near public facilities will appear in a Chariton County courtroom on the charges Thursday.
Salisbury resident, 18-year-old Joseph Guinn, faces two counts of the possession as well as a third violation for distribution near a school. Guinn was arrested in late January and he is set to be arraigned on the felonies Thursday morning.
A preliminary hearing will also be held for a Keytesville resident accused of similar crimes. 52-year-old Joseph Black will appear on possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and distribution near public housing. Black was charged with the two counts in February and he has pleaded not-guilty to both charges.
