RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. — A two-vehicle accident in Randolph County Saturday left both drivers in the hospital.

According to a crash report from Missouri State Highway Patrol, 20-year-old Dylan Payton, of Huntsville, was travelling southbound on MO 3 Highway (1.25 miles south of Mount Airy) when his vehicle crossed the center line, head-on striking a northbound vehicle being driven by Armstrong resident Raymond Wade, 69.
Wade, who was wearing his safety device at the time of impact, received minor injuries, for which he was treated at the scene and released. Payton was reportedly not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident, and received moderate injuries in the accident. He was transported by Randolph County Ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center.
