CLAY COUNTY, Mo. – Two people were injured when their vehicle was hit by a vehicle already involved in a collision Thursday morning.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report, three vehicles were northbound on Interstate 35 in Clay County when Nhu Le, 26, of Kansas City attempted to change lanes and struck a vehicle driven by Cameron McGee, 40, of Kansas City, around 8:40 yesterday morning. Le then careened into a vehicle driven by Daniel Farrell, 52, of Kansas City. Farrell received minor injuries and his passenger, Phillip Parris, 48, of Blue Springs received serious injuries when their vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned.
Both men were transported to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
