MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were injured in a Morgan County accident Saturday evening. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Anthony R. Tigar, 26, of Jefferson City, was driving on Route D, at Sims Road, around 6:23 p.m. An unknown vehicle defect caused the acceleration to lock on his Ford F-250. He lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center of the road, traveled off the left side of the roadway, through a field and onto a residential property. The truck came to rest when it hit a residential deck. Tigar was seriously injured. He was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance to University Hospital. His passenger, Brianna L. Gonzagowski, 19, of Versailles, was taken via MU Life Flight to University Hospital in serious condition.
