CLAY COUNTY, Mo.– A two-vehicle crash in Clay County early this morning left two people injured.
Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 4:10 a.m. on northbound I-35, a half mile north of Pleasant Valley Road.
George Vanderpool, 65, of Pittsburg, Kansas was northbound, failed to stay in his lane, and hit a vehicle driven by Quinn Troncin, 19, of Liberty, Missouri.
Troncin then hit a concrete barrier, leaving him with minor injuries and his passenger, Matthew Newhouse, 23, of Turney with moderate injuries.
Vanderpool sustained no injuries in the crash.
