SEDALIA, MO — The Sale of Champions that took place on August 22, 2015 did not lack for excitement. There were two records set during the premium sale, first the Grand Champion barrow, shown by Kaycee Vandiver of McFall, Missouri, sold for $23,800 and was purchased by BTC Bank in partnership with Elite Swine Genetics. The second record sale was the Grand Champion lamb, shown by Sydney Tomlin of Unionville, purchased by University of Missouri Sorority Sigma Alpha for $21,000. The total dollar amount for the 2015 Sale of Champions was a whopping $142,950. Here is a complete list of the animals sold at the 2015 Sale of Champions at the Missouri State Fair.
