According to a KMZU listener, Police in the Kansas City area have responded to two bank robberies in grocery stores in the Northland today. The first was reported inside the Price Chopper on Northwest Barry Road around 11:40. And the second occurred approximately 20 minutes later, at the Hy-Vee located at I-29 and Northwest 64th Street.
The suspect in both robberies is said to be a female with medium complexion who was wearing a United States Air Force track suit with a skull cap. She reportedly handed a demand note to cashiers at both locations. It’s believed that she may be driving a blue, 4-door Nissan Altima.
Anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement. No injuries were reported in this morning’s robberies.
