JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A crash in Johnson County injured two teens Thursday morning.
The crash involving a 2009 Ford occurred a quarter-mile west of 1821st Road on NW 100 Road. A crash report states, a Pleasant Hill resident, Madison McDaniel, 16, was the driver of the vehicle when it departed from the roadway, hitting a fence and two trees. She was moderately injured. A passenger, Brenden Smith, 15, reported minor injuries. Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt according to the incident report.
They were taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital by ambulance.
