COOPER COUNTY, Mo. — A two vehicle crash in Cooper County this morning left two people with injuries and charges.
According to a crash report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, Timothy R. Kuehn, 52, of Arnold, Missouri, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of I-70 at the 111 mile marker when he struck a second vehicle while attempting to avoid the collision. Kuehn slid off the right side of the road and into the medican.
The second vehicle driven by Addison R. Plaisance, 29, of Fargo, North Dakota, traveled off the right side of the roadway.
Kuehn was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving the wrong direction on roadway causing a crash, no insurance, wrong registration by using registration of another person and no seat belt. He was released to University Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Plaisance was charged with misdemeanor possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He was released to University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
