The Northwestern Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold a series of meetings in five cities along the Missouri River Basin. The meetings start on April 8th and are being held to keep the public up to date on the current hydrologic conditions and planned regulation of the Missouri River’s Main-stem reservoirs during the coming months. The public meetings will include a presentation from the Missouri River Water Management Division regarding the current status of reservoir operations followed by a question and answer session. The area meeting will be Thursday April 11th at 11 a.m. at the Jerry Litton Visitor Center on DD Highway in Smithville. This meeting will cover the USACE Smithville Project.
