We’re gonna hear from some of the people that are working daily with veterans and trying help them be successful in life…(I’m) very excited (and) hope everyone will come take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

The event is to all vets and the public. Representative Hartzler, explains why she is involved.

Well I just have such a heart for anyone who is willing to serve their country and put their life on the line, and they make so many sacrifices for us and our district is blessed to have so many men and women who have done that.” she said.

I’m going to do everything possible to help them, to support them and to let them know that w appreciate their service and we want to make sure they get the resources that they need to be successful in life.

The Summit will run from 9 a.m. to noon in the Elliot Union Building, Room 240 on the University of Central Missouri Campus in Warrensburg.
