KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Press Release) — Defending MIAA regular season and tournament champion Central Missouri has once again been selected by the coaches to finish a top the women’s standings earning 11 first place votes while after a one-year hiatus for the poll Fort Hays State has been picked by the coaches to win in men’s soccer.

In the women’s poll Central Oklahoma is picked to finish second on the strength of one first place vote as they came in just one points ahead of Northeastern State who is picked third. Fort Hays State earned 95 points in the poll and are picked to finish fourth while Missouri Western rounds out the top five in the poll.

Southwest Baptist is just three points behind the Griffons in fifth place while Nebraska-Kearney sits in seventh place just five points behind them. Just four points back of that is Washburn who is picked eight while Emporia State is three points behind the Ichabods in the ninth slot. Lindenwood was picked to finish 10th with Missouri Southern 11th and Northwest Missouri selected 12th.

On the men’s side Northeastern State earned a first place vote for second as reigning MIAA champion Upper Iowa also got a first place vote and are picked third. Lindenwood has been selected fourth with Southwest Baptist picked to finish fifth by the coaches.
