The Sedalia-Pettis County chapter of the United Way is hosting its annual truck-load chicken sale.  Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen talk with Sedalia-Pettis County United Way Executive Director Elle Wasson Duggan:

Elle Wasson Duggan

Duggan says the community looks forward to the benefit every year.  Many stock up on chicken products for the winter.  Tyson Foods donates cases of chicken leg-quarters, thighs, breasts, patties, tenders, and nuggets to the United Way’s benefit.  Cases come in 20 or 30 pound boxes depending on the product.  The cash-only sale runs until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at Thompson Hill Shopping Center in Sedalia.
