On 08/01/2014 at approximately 12:30pm, Macon County Deputies located the suspect and vehicle at an address North of New Cambria, MO. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Macon County Jail.
The Macon Police Department is looking for a man whom they suspect of crimes involving a juvenile. A warrant has been issued for Robert D. Mausser for alleged statutory rape, child molestation and furnishing pornographic material to a minor.
It’s believed Mausser is driving a black 1999 Pontiac Grand Am with Missouri Plates DD2-S8L.
Mausser is described at 5’10”, 210 pounds, blue eyes, shaved head and blue eyes.

On 08/01/2014, Macon Police Department obtained arrest warrant for Robert D. Mausser of Macon for Statutory Rape, Child Molestation and Furnishing Pornographic Material (or attempt to furnish) to a Minor. The Macon Police Department is currently attempting to locate Mausser at this time.
As the crime was being reported, the suspect learned of law enforcement involvement, he reportedly left his residence driving a black 1999 Pontiac Grand Am bearing MO license DD2S8L.
The suspect made comments of intentionally harming himself. The suspect is described as a 51-year old white male, approximately 5’10” tall, 210 lbs, shaved head, blue eyes and wears glasses. The suspect has contacts in the Michigan area, but his current location and intentions are unknown. It is unknown if the suspect is armed.
At this time, it is believed that the suspect is still in the Macon County area. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Macon County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in attempting to locate the suspect. Anyone with information of the suspect or vehicle location is asked to contact the Macon Police Department.
