UPDATE: (05/12/15) The Endangered Silver Advisory issued by Sullivan County Sheriff on 94 year old John Ben “J.B.” Lee from Milan, Missouri has been called off.
Just before 8am Tuesday, a report was received of Mr. Lee’s vehicle being sighted on Highway 65, just north of Sedalia. A deputy in northern Pettis County was notified and spotted Mr. Lee’s 1994 blue Lincoln Town Car. Mr. Lee was safe when located.
Sullivan County Sheriff’s personnel has made contact with Mr. Lee’s family and arrangements are being made for them to be reunited.
Pettis County Sheriff Kevin Bond expresses thanks to citizens for remaining alert and especially to the person that quickly responded in helping locate the missing man.
A missing person’s advisory has been announced for a Milan, MO man. The endangered silver advisory is for John Ben Lee, 94.
Lee is described as a white male standing 6’1” tall weighing around 185 lbs with gray hair and blue eyes and walks with a cane. He was last seen in a blue 1994 Lincoln Town Car with person License plate J-B-L-E-E driving southbound on Hwy 5 in route to Sedalia.
Lee’s daughter advised that he is a diabetic and sometimes becomes disoriented and confused. She also stated that he may be in route to Colorado after leaving Sedalia.
Anyone who believes they may have any information regarding Lee is urged to contact local law enforcement immediately.
