The Stet R-XV Board of Education is expected to make a final decision on the annexation/consolidation issue on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend the meeting. Once the board reaches a decision, the issue will be placed on the April ballot.
The public will be allowed to make comments if they submit a request at least 24 hours prior to the meeting date. Since the meeting falls on a Sunday, residents should submit their request by the end of the day on Friday, Dec. 9. However, under Missouri law, the public has until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. Residents will be given three minutes to make their statement. Those wanting to voice their opinion should call (660) 484-3122.
