UPDATE: (12/15/18, 4:00 a.m.) – Three people are injured, two seriously after a collision between a van and semi in Lafayette County Friday afternoon.ERIOUS

The collision occurred at the Alma junction of Highway 20 and 23, around 5:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon. A southbound van operated by Elizabeth White, 37, of Ozark pulled into the path of a westbound tractor trailer driven by Lynn Murry, 59, of Higginsville.

The report says White and her passenger, Tammy Walker of Jefferson City, were not wearing seat belts when they received serious injuries. They were transported to Centerpoint Medical Center for treatment.

Murry was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries.

ALMA, MO – A two vehicle accident near Alma was reported this evening around 5 p.m.

Missouri Highway Patrol confirmed that the possible injury crash involved a passenger vehicle and semi truck at the intersection of 23 and 20 Hwys. No information was gathered regarding the status of the roadway, there was debris reported at the scene.   Motorists may need to find alternate routes.
