UPDATE: 07/26/2018 9:34:12 a.m.- A water main break in Daviess County prompted a boil order advisory yesterday for much of the area and repairs are expected to be finished today.
According to a release today from the Daviess County Public Water Supply District no. 2, officials anticipate service to restored at approximately noon today. The boil order remains in affect until further notice for a portion of the Breckenridge, Gallatin and Hamilton areas.
All water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least five minutes before consumption for the duration of the advisory.
DAVIESS COUNTY, MO – A water main break in Daviess County prompted a boil order advisory in effect until further notice.
Areas affected by what is being called a major break Wednesday afternoon, include south Daviess County, into Caldwell County. That includes south of Gallatin to Hamilton and Breckenridge. Affected is Vista to east of 190th Road. Highway M south of Waltz avenue and west of 300th street is affected.
Service has been suspended. Repairs are currently being made.
