UPDATE: (08/17/16) 1:40 p.m. Officials with P.W.S.D. No. 1 have informed KMZU News that the boil advisory for customers east of Highway 65, south of County Road 240, west of the town of DeWitt, including DeWitt, and North of the Missouri River has been lifted.

UPDATE: (08/15/16) 12:35 p.m. – P.W.S.D. No. 1 of Carroll County has located and fixed a 6” water main that broke Sunday night.

A precautionary boil advisory will be in place until further notice for customers east of Highway 65, south of County Road 240, west of the town of DeWitt, including DeWitt, and North of the Missouri River.

They are asking anyone with questions to call water district office at (660)542-1700.

CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. – Some customers of Carroll County Public Water Supply District Number 1 are experiencing low water pressure along U.S. Highway 24, east of Carrollton, Mo.

Officials with P.W.S.D. No. 1 are trying to locate a leak in the southeast portion of the service area that is not filling a water tower. Once that leak is located and fixed a portion of the service area will be placed on a 48 hour boil advisory.
