Utility rate changes were approved by the Marshall Board of Public Works at their meeting Tuesday morning.

Gieringer says, “There was a need for rates to be changed because of upcoming projects.”
Marshall customers will see an increase of 12 point 5 cents per thousand gallons used on water, and a 20 cent per thousand gallons used on wastewater, with a decrease of 1 cent per kilowatt used on the electric side starting the first of the year.
