The VFW Post 5675 of Odessa is hosting their monthly breakfast. “This will be our 5th year doing it,” said Vorwork, “We do it every second Saturday of the month. It’s been a good fundraiser, with the money that we raise we benefit veterans affairs, we have our donations for veterans like the Missouri veterans service officer program, our national home, and military assistance programs. We use the money that we collect for them.”
This is a great priced meal you won’t want to miss, and all proceeds go to an amazing cause. “We serve scrambled eggs,” Vorwork said, “Hash browns, bacon, sausage, ham, biscuits, and sausage gravy with pancakes and hot waffles. We’ll also have coffee, orange juice, and milk and it only costs $5 for all you can eat.”
The Saturday morning breakfast will be taking place at the post home on East Old Hwy 40 in Odessa, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. For more information on directions, contact Darrel Vorwork at 816-645-8738.
