UPDATE 4:30 p.m. – A resident of Clark is injured following a vehicle accident near Breckenridge Friday morning.

A report submitted by Highway Patrol says the accident, involving a semi tractor trailer, occurred as the truck was turning north off westbound Route 36 one mile south of Breckenridge. A vehicle driven by Dakota Vanlandingham, 31, struck the back of the trailer, and became engulfed in flames. The report indicates Vanlandingham was distracted before the collision. He was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional medical Center with moderate injuries.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. — KMZU News has confirmed a vehicle crash is impacting traffic on westbound 36 Highway at the Breckenridge Junction of Highways M and A.

Westbound traffic is reportedly backed up two miles and is being slowly diverted onto old 36 Highway at Mooresville. Delays are expected for the next two hours.

The crash occurred at 9:23 a.m.

Injuries are not known at this time and drivers should plan alternate routes.
