According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Milan resident had an accident around 7:40 a.m. Thursday morning.

Mary Hagan, 43, was traveling eastbound on Highway 6, just 4 miles east of Humphreys when the vehicle slid out of control, drove off of the right side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.

While the vehicle itself received extensive damage, Mary Hagan was transported by ambulance to the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries only.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Trooper Hendershott, and the Milan Fire Department all responded to the scene of the accident.
