Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack joined Missouri agricultural leaders at an ADM grain elevator in St. Louis this morning to tout the importance of agricultural exports to the U.S. economy and encourage congressional ratification of the Korean Trade Agreement.
In a phone call with KMZU following this morning’s presentation Vilsack highlighted the value of the world market to US agriculture.

According to Vilsack that’s $20-billion more in agriculture trade than the previous year. In addition he says $1.9 billion worth of agricultural trade could be added to that with approval of the Korean Trade Agreement.
