CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. — The Wakenda Creek in Carrollton is at the flood banks in Carrollton.

According to the National Weather Service, the last observed value of the creek was 19.56 feet at 7 a.m. Thursday. This is listed at a moderate flooding stage.

The water flooded the Burger Bar parking lot overnight but has since receded, leaving a few puddles in the parking lot.

The NWS is predicting the creek to fall below moderate and minor flooding stages by Friday.

More heavy rain is in the forecast for early next week, which could cause the creek to surge again.
