COLUMBIA, Mo.- The Columbia Police Department are actively searching for a Columbia, Mo., man in relation to the double shooting/homicide at Waffle House on January 1, 2018.
An initial arrest was made on January 6, 2018, of a Columbia man for allegedly tampering with physical evidence connected to the double shooting and homicide. Columbia police detectives determined Darnell Freelon, 20, removed a firearm from the scene prior to officers arrival.
According to a release from the Columbia Police Department, a warrant was issued today for Matthew Callier McMillan, 29, on charges of felony murder in the second-degree, felony first-degree assault, felony armed criminal action and felony unlawful use of a weapon. A cash-only bond for McMillan has been set at $1,000,000.
McMillan is considered armed and dangerous and anyone who sees McMillan should contact law enforcement immediately.
