WARRENSBURG, Mo— Warrensburg City Council convened Monday, February 08, 2016. The meeting was preceded by a study session in which an information technology update was given.
Roll was called to begin the meeting and city council member Casey Renfrow was absent. All other members were present.
After roll was called, an amendment was made to the agenda for the evening; the audit report for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015 was made the first order of business. It was concluded that Warrensburg did well during the fiscal year. Revenue growth and a rise in asset value were cited during the audit.
Following the audit report was a proclamation from Mayor Robin Allen that declared February as American history month for Warrensburg. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution sponsored the proclamation.
The first and only ordinance of the night followed the proclamation. The ordinance is to make a contract with G&R Construction, Inc. to repair the roof at the West Wastewater Treatment Plant. The ordinance was passed unanimously.
Following other miscellaneous reports, the meeting was adjourned.
