WARRENSBURG, Mo. — The National Association of Health Care Assistants (NAHCA) recently appointed Donna Adair as its representative to the national Advancing Excellence in America’s Nursing Homes Campaign. As one of the coalition’s dozen founding members, NAHCA holds a seat on the Campaign’s Steering Committee and provides oversight of its organizational mission: achieving excellence in the quality of care and quality of life for the more than 1.5 million residents of America’s nursing homes.
Adair is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) II/Medical Technician/Lead CNA at Missouri Veterans Home~Warrensburg (MVH~W). She has more than 19 years experience in the field and has received numerous accolades for her expertise, leadership, and professional dedication to the field of Long Term Care. She is Chairman of the NAHCA Leadership Team at (MVH~W) and serves as Vice-Chairman of NAHCA’s National Steering Commission.

Adair said she was “blessed to receive such an amazing opportunity,” and plans to use her skills and experience to serve the nation’s senior population and represent all Certified Nursing Assistants in the critical movement to improve standards of care in nursing homes across the nation.
Adair’s influential role will focus on lending a comprehensive “frontline caregiver perspective” to the campaign’s overall national objectives.
