JOHNSON COUNTY — A man from Warrensburg received serious injuries following a rollover crash in Johnson County early Saturday morning.

The report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that a vehicle driven by Robert W. Rainey, 26, was traveling westbound on US 50, east of NW 1051 Road at 1:18 a.m. Saturday.

Rainey lost control of his vehicle, which traveled off the left side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, then traveled off the right side before veering off the left side a second time.

The vehicle began to overturn multiple times, ejecting Rainey from the vehicle. He was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Rainey was transported by the Jackson County Ambulance District to Research Hospital in Kansas City for treatment.
