BENTON COUNTY, Mo. — An arrest in Benton County Monday afternoon led to officers suggesting multiple charges for possession of drugs.

43-year-old Warsaw resident James Ellis was arrested at 2:44 p.m. Monday and received preliminary charges for possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a lane violation. Ellis was transported to Benton County Jail, where he was processed and released.
