LAFAYETTE, JOHNSON COUNTIES, MO – A spokesperson for Consolidated Public Water Supply District 2 of Lafayette, Johnson and Saline Counties is informing the public of a disruption in water service.
According to manager Tammy Winter, one 6 ” line was struck by another utility, which forced a precautionary boil advisory for the affected area, issued today. That area extends from east of Aullville junction at Route T, to just west of Route O junction, south of I-70 to the Johnson County Line, and into portions of Johnson County. That boil advisory is in effect until Monday, August 13.
Only water used for consumption is affected by the advisory.
