Missouri corn harvest is just about to come to a close.  According to the latest crop progress report from the Missouri Agriculture Statistics Service, 93-percent of the state’s corn acres have been harvested.   
As for the bean crop, 97-percent is dropping leaves while 89-percent of the bean acres are mature.  Soybeans harvested reached 70 percent as of Sunday, moving ahead 16 points from last week.
The sorghum crop is slightly leading to the bean harvest pace with 76 percent in the bin.  Winter wheat planted was 60 percent, 4 days behind last year, but 6 days ahead of normal.  Winter wheat emergence has reached 31 percent.  Condition of the wheat crop reached 6 percent poor to very poor, 60 percent fair and 34 percent good to excellent.   
Pasture conditions continue to suffer with the latest report showing the acreage across the state as 62 percent poor to very poor, 27 percent fair, and 11 percent good.
