JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. — A crash in Johnson County early Friday morning sent a Holden driver to an area hospital.
The Highway Patrol was called to the scene of State Highway 2, three-tenths of a mile east of State Highway 131 round 12:40 a.m. Friday to reports of a single vehicle accident.
A vehicle operated by 31-year-old Jessica M. Hayes was westbound on 2 Highway when it began to hydroplane on the water-covered roadway.
Hayes traveled off the right side of the road, resulting in the vehicle rolling over and striking a fence, coming to rest partially blocking the roadway.
Hayes, who according to the report was wearing seat belt, reported minor injuries. She was treated at Western Missouri Medical Center for her injuries.
