In the massive draft of World War II, about 50 million men from 18 to 45 years old were registered.  Wilbert Dittmer of Marshall was one of those inducted.  After basic training, Wilbert would be assigned to the Inspector General’s Department and would serve for two years in the military.  Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk with Wilbert Dittmer:
