According to the Missouri Department of Conservation a 48-year-old Windsor man was killed in a hunting accident this weekend.

Low says, “48-year-old Hershel Fornshell was climbing out of his deer stand when he fell accidentally discharging his weapon.”

The former Saline County man was transported by air ambulance to a Columbia Hospital where he later died.
