NORTH MISSOURI – We have two Winter Weather Advisorys in effect for the Northwest, North Central and Northeast portion of Missouri tonight.

The first advisory is expected to expire at midnight for Andrew, Atchison, Gentry, Harrison, Holt, Mercer, Nodaway and Worth counties. The second advisory will remain in effect until 3am Sunday morning. That advisory is for Adair, Grundy, Putnam, Schuyler and Sullivan counties. A band of snow that developed along the Iowa border will remain nearly stationary North of Highway 36. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts are expected. Increasing northerly winds could create areas of blowing snow and reduce visibility in the area.

Plan on slippery roads if you have to travel.
