Press Release from Wentworth Military Academy and College:

Colonel William W. Sellers, President of Wentworth Military Academy and College, has been appointed as President of the Executive Committee for the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States.

The AMCSUS is a group of schools which provide a quality education in a military environment with emphasis on strong values, leadership development citizenship, and service to others. Schools affiliated with the AMCSUS include college preparatory schools, two-year colleges and four-year colleges and universities.

Col. Mike Lierman, Superintendent of Wentworth, is pleased with the selection of Sellers as president of the executive committee.

“It is truly an honor for Col. Sellers to be selected as the President of the Association of Military Colleges and Schools for the United States. Each of the schools in this organization develop leaders, and foster relationships to develop the ‘whole person’ of their students,” said Col. Lierman.

The appointment of Sellers as President will allow Wentworth a great opportunity to work with other schools, organizations and government agencies to better prepare students and cadets.
