HENRY COUNTY, Mo. — A motion for change of venue is expected to be taken up at an arraignment for murder in Henry County Monday morning.
Tammy Widger, 37, of Clinton is scheduled to appear for an arraignment at 10:00 a.m. Monday in a Henry County circuit courtroom.
Widger is charged with first degree Murder, two counts of assault in the first degree on a special victim, delivery of a controlled substance and maintaining a public nuisance.
The charges stem from a shooting by her boyfriend, James Waters, which resulted in the death of Clinton police officer Ryan Morton and the wounding of two others in March of this year.
On July 9, her attorney filed a motion to move the case out of Henry County. The court will consider the motion during the 10:00 a.m. hearing.
