A Brunswick woman was charged last week with possession of a controlled substance after Marshall police responded to a report of an attempted theft at Wal-mart.  An employee told officers he saw Amanda Bolles, 33, try to take some items from the women’s clothing section of the super center on July 17.  During a search of Bolles’ purse, police reported finding a bottle of morphine, methylphenidate tablets, and a grinder with marijuana residue.  A urine sample later tested positive for Benzodiazepines, cocaine, methadone, opiates, oxycodone, propoxyphene, and THC.  Bond for Bolles was set at $5,000.
