The construction project in downtown Warrensburg is quickly nearing completion. Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross talk to Main Street Director Julie Turnipseed:
“We’re really moving along,”said Turnipseed,”This construction company, as well as the city of Warrensburg, have worked so well and it has moved along nicely. They are ahead of schedule and we’re very pleased about that. We’re really getting close and it’s just beautiful. If you haven’t been down here to see it, the street lights are up, the ribbon of bricks has been laid, and they’re beginning to plant trees.”
Residents can expect delays and street closures as the work continues over the next couple of weeks. The construction will force the closure of Pine Street on Wednesday from Washington Street to Holden.
