BOONE COUNTY, Mo.— Law enforcement responded to a bomb threat Saturday morning in Boone County.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department states that a little after 10:00 a.m. Saturday deputies took a call for a bomb threat on an Interstate Bus liner after a passenger found written statement of a bomb on the bus. The bus pulled off at a business on Hwy 40. After a two-hour search of the bus the Mid-Missouri Bomb Squad found no evidence of an explosive device aboard the bus. The commercial liner and the business it stopped at were allowed to carry on  business as usual following the “all clear” from authorities.
